The test will detect the common blood grouping system A,B,O,AB and Rhesus(D). Unusual blood groups or rare sub-types will not be detected by this method. Further investigation by a blood transfusion laboratory will be necessary to identify such groups.

Its good that tests like these are available for home use. You dont need to go to any hospital just to get the job done.. Its accurate too.

Great at home blood test
This worked great! It was so fun I got one for each of my brothers, now we know who we can donate blood to among ourselves which is practical. The results were clear and easy to read. I had trouble with the lancet but just gave myself a quick nick on the knee with my razor (us women do this all the time while shaving so it wasn't a big deal) and used that blood for the test.

Instructions were clear and straightforward. Painless and most important of all results were accurate and easy to read. Had my blood tested at a lab and it came back with the same blood type as the results of this test (and a bill 10x the cost of the Eldoncard... :)
