Discover your pregnancy with the rapid accuracy of the First Response Pregnancy Test, boasting a 99% accuracy from the day of your expected period, First Response delivers a ‘first to detect’ technology that is able to detect minute amounts of the HCG hormone as early as six days prior to your missed period. Through the deliverance of rapid results, it empowers mothers to be to commence early prenatal care ensuring the optimal health and support for both the mother and the growing baby.
The amount of pregnancy hormone hCG increases as pregnancy progresses. In clinical testing, First Response detected hormone levels consistent with pregnancy in 62% of women 6 days before their missed period, in 78% of women 5 days before their missed period, in 87% of women 4 days before their missed period, in 98% of women 3 days before their missed period and in over 99% of women 2 days before their missed period. Note that hormone levels may vary.
If you choose to test early and the result is negative, you may not be pregnant or it may be too early to tell because your urine does not have enough hCG for the test to give a positive result. If you do not get your period within seven days, you should take another test.
When can I do the test?
You no longer have to wait to miss your period! The First Response pregnancy test can be used six days before the day of your expected period. The test can be performed at any time during the day and does not have to be done first thing in the morning. However the first urine in the morning contains the highest level of hCG.
How accurate is the test?
Studies have been conducted with urine samples representative of both pregnant and non-pregnant subjects; laboratory technicians obtained the correct expected results in more than 99% of the samples. However, some women may not have detectable amounts of hCG in their urine on the first day of the missed period or may have miscalculated the first day of their period.
How do I do the test?
The First Response Early Pregnancy Test is simple to perform - just hold the test stick in your urine stream for a few seconds and you will soon see the pink colour moving across the Clear Top to indicate that the test is working. After 3 minutes, you can read your result. Follow the full instructions enclosed in the pack before carrying out the test.
How do I know if I am pregnant or not?
The First Response Early Pregnancy Test has an easy to read test stick - two pink lines in the Result Window means you are pregnant, one pink line means you are not pregnant. The appearance of a second line, no matter how faint, is a positive result.
I always buy this pregnancy test as they are affordable and it works as its supposed to. No issues so far..
I WILL NOT purchase any other brand!!!! I have used this for all 3 of my pregnancies and it gave me accurate results on the first test everytime. And it gave me the results about a week or so before my cycle was due to start.
Not a whole lot to say here. It works, and its accurate. I have had three children. And used this each time before going to the doc. If you’re pregnant, make sure you get on some prenatal pills right away! They made a huge difference for me with morning sickness
I bought this not long ago along with others I wasn't sure this test would work, and to my surprise it did! Now I have a beautiful baby boy on the way.
Love that the results were quick and the curved handle made it easier.
I just took the First Response Pregnancy Tests 5 days early and I got two pink lines! I took a regular, not early detection test as well and that was negative. It really does pick up the hormone when others don't! I highly recommend this brand.
