FertilAid for Women
FertilAid for Women is a comprehensive fertility supplement which includes all the recommended prenatal vitamins and science-based herbal fertility enhancing supplements. You are recommended to start taking vitamin supplements as soon as you decide that you will try to conceive (ttc), as well as following a healthy diet and lifestyle. FertilAid for women, unlike some other vitamin supplements recommended when trying to start a family, contains ALL the vitamins you require, in the correct amounts, including folic acid. These are combined with fertility enhancing ingredients that help restore hormonal balance, and encourage reproductive health and wellbeing. Each bottle of FertilAid contains 90 capsules, which is sufficient for one month’s supply.
Fertile CM
CM or Cervical Mucus is vital in the reproductive process; it is a bodily fluid central to fertility and conception. Fertile CM is a nutritional fertility supplement which supports the body’s natural production of cervical mucus. In additional to the nutritional properties, Fertile CM also supports female sexual libido. Fertile CM is made up of the following key ingredients:
- Selected vitamins
- Key nutrients including L-Arginine, an amino acid which supports the synthesis of nitric acid (NO). NO is produced by the body naturally, and supports the production of cervical mucus before and during ovulation.
It is thought that there may be problems with conception occurring if fertile cervical mucus is not present. Fertile CM is designed specifically to improve the quality of the cervical mucus, and increase the chances of becoming pregnant.
The ingredients in Fertile CM work in three different ways to improve female fertility:
- Supports the creation of fertile cervical mucus while ovulation is occurring and afterwards
- Helps build the lining of the uterus so that it is ready for the implantation of a fertilised egg in very early pregnancy
- Enhances female sexual libido.
Each bottle of Fertile CM contains 90 capsules which is sufficient for a month. Fertile CM may safely be taken along with FertilAid for Women.
Zita West Vital DHA for Men and Women
Zita West Vital DHA contains one of the essential Omega 3 fatty acids that the body is unable to manufacture and so must get from the diet. While it is possible to get Omega 3 from oily fish, the amount you would have to eat would be very large in order to take in the recommended amount. Omega 3 or DHA is essential for the development of the baby’s brain while still growing in the womb and also to pass on the baby through breastfeeding. Research has shown that the best foetal and young infant development occurs when there are sufficient levels of fatty acids, such as those contained in Vital DHA, in the mother’s diet.
Vital DHA should be taken as soon as you decide to start to try to conceive (ttc), or think you might start trying in the next few months. Each pack of Vital DHA contains 60 capsules, which is sufficient for a month. One capsule is to be taken twice a day, with food or after food.
FertilCare
FertilCare has been developed to provide all the nutritional requirements a woman needs when trying to conceive (ttc) and also throughout pregnancy. All the vitamins and nutrients in FertilCare were specifically selected, and the amounts of each are at the optimum and safe levels required. While a good diet and a healthy lifestyle are highly recommended when trying to conceive and pregnant, the desirable amount of vitamins may not be achieved by diet alone. So it would be advisable to take a vitamin supplement when trying to conceive or pregnant. As well as the regular vitamins, FertilCare contains Folic Acid which is absolutely essential in the diet to avoid neural tube defects in a developing baby in the womb. Each packet of FertilCare contains 30 capsules, which is sufficient for a month. It is recommended that FertilCare is taken before conception takes place, so you should start taking it once you decide to try to conceive.
Evening Primrose Oil
Evening Primrose Oil from FairHaven health was developed to provide the optimal amount of evening primrose oil for trying to conceive (ttc) women. It also includes vitamin E and an antioxidant selenium. Evening primrose oil contains omega 6, which is converted by the body to help balance female reproductive hormones and also to regulate the important moisture contained in mucus membranes (cervical mucus). When trying to conceive, the most important benefit to taking evening primrose oil is its ability to help the body create fertile cervical mucus. This is required to enable the sperm to move freely towards the egg in order for fertilisation to take place. It is recommended that you only take evening primrose oil in the early part of your monthly cycle, before ovulation has taken place.
Folic Acid
Inhealth stocks Folic Acid from Kelkin and from Cantassium. Folic Acid is a naturally occurring B-vitamin that is essential for the correct development of a baby’s neural tube, which becomes the baby’s spinal cord and brain. It is recommended that folic acid is taken for as long as possible before trying to conceive, and then until 12 or 14 weeks into the pregnancy. Many women take folic acid as standard while they are sexually active, regardless of whether or not they are trying to conceive, so that they have sufficient folic acid in their systems should a pregnancy occur, planned or unplanned. The recommended amount of folic acid is 400 mcg per day, and both of these brands contain this amount. The Kelkin bottle contains enough folic acid tablets for two months; the Cantassium bottle has enough for three months.
Pregnacare Conception - His and Hers, and Pregnacare Conception
Pregnacare Conception His and Her from Vitabiotics is an extra value pack consisting of Pregnacare Conception for the lady along with Wellman Conception for the man. For the lady, Pregnacare Conception provides all the nutritional support you need when trying to conceive (ttc). As well as following a healthy diet and lifestyle, it would be recommended that a vitamin supplement be taken to ensure that sufficient quantities of vitamins are taken while trying to start a family. Many of these nutrients have been shown to support the woman’s reproductive health, and so maximise the chances of becoming pregnant. As well as the vitamins recommended, Pregnacare Conception contains folic acid and vitamin B12. Both of these are vital to ensure the correct development of the brain and spinal cord in the early stages of pregnancy. Inhealth stocks both Pregnacare Conception and the value box of Pregnacare His & Her Conception.
