What is a Avent Niplette?
Avent Niplette is a simple solution for inverted nipples. Using a small cup placed over the nipple, a vacuum is created to pull out inverted nipples either permanently, or on a temporary basis without having to undergo painful surgical procedures. Using the Avent Niplette to extract your inverted nipples can help to make breastfeeding much easier, enabling your baby to quickly latch on. Additionally, correcting inverted nipples can help to heighten your sexual stimulation.
How does a Avent Nipplette work?
Avent Niplette works by gently and continuously stretching your skin’s tissues. This is based on the theory of tissue expansion, which the Avent Niplette prolonged suction action achieves by stretching your lactiferous ducts. The vacuum created in the cap exerts a force on the nipples and over time this changes the tissues in them.
How do I use a Avent Niplette?
Place the small plastic thimble-sized cup over the inverted nipple. Then connect the small syringe to the valve which is located on the underside of the cup. You can then gently expel the air from the cup to create a vacuum. When enough air has been drawn out you can detach the syringe from the cup. To remove the Avent Niplette, simply reattach the syringe to the valve to release the vacuum. You can safely and comfortably wear the Avent Niplette over your nipples in this way for the ideal length of time of 8 hours. Avent Niplette also comes with pads which allow you to discreetly wear the Avent Niplette under your clothing. That means you can easily treat inverted nipples and resolve the problem for good, without anyone being any the wiser.
How long before the Avent Niplette will work?
When you wear the Avent Niplette for a full 8 hours, 7 days of the week you can expect to permanently correct your inverted nipples within 3 months. How quickly you see a result depends on the degree of your nipple inversion, the condition of your muscle tissue and how long and often you wear the Avent Niplette.
Are the any side effects?
You may notice that there may be a small amount of discharge on the Avent Niplette cup after you have been wearing it for a long period of time. This is relatively normal. However, if you notice any brown or bloody discharge you should stop using it and consult your doctor. Otherwise you should not encounter any serious side effects.
