Beaba Bib’secondes Bottle WarmerThe Beaba bottle warmer is an ultra fast baby bottle or baby jar heater with a unique steam heating system. The Bib-secondes bottle warmer uses steam in an enclosed area to heat the bottle or jar, along with the initial temperature and quantity of liquid or baby food to give a time for how long to heat the bottle or jar.
Features of the Beaba Bib’secondes Bottle Warmer:- The Beaba has a dual-programme switch - (a) Baby bottle or baby jar to be heated straight from the fridge - approx. 5 degrees C and (b) Baby bottle or baby jar to be heated from room temperature - approx. 20 degrees C
- There is no need to pre-heat the Beaba bottle warmer; it has an instant heating process
- The Beaba bottle warmer has an accurate timer that works according to the amount of food or drink to be heated, and whether the container is at room temperature or from the fridge
- This accurate timer guarantees heating to the correct temperature so that you know the drink or food is safe for your baby - approx. 37 degrees C
- It takes less than 2 minutes to heat a drink in this bottle warmer; baby food jars are heated in less than 5 minutes
- The Beaba bottle warmer has a 10-minute keep-warm feature for a bottle or baby food jar; ensure you keep the lid or dome on
- This Bib’secondes bottle warmer is compatible with BPA-plastic and glass bottles and jars, up to 300ml (just over 10ozs) in size.
How to Heat a Bottle using the Beaba Bottle Warmer:- Remove the cover or top from the Beaba bottle warmer - turn it clockwise
- Fill the bottle warmer water holder or reservoir with room-temperature water to the level shown
- Place the bottle on the bottle warmer, without its lid, cap or teat
- Place the cover or dome over the bottle; tighten firmly in an anti-clockwise direction
- Plug in the bottle warmer
- Twist the dial to the correct amount of liquid in the bottle, ensuring that you also select the initial temperature mark - room or fridge
- The bottle will be ready when the indicator light over the dial goes out
- Unscrew the dome lid and carefully remove the bottle, making sure to hold the bottle at the part where there is liquid inside - the empty part of the bottle will get very hot
- Place the lid, cap or teat on the bottle and shake well to make sure the temperature of the liquid is even
- ALWAYS test the temperature of the liquid before feeding your baby
- If you leave the lid on, the Beaba bottle warmer will keep the bottle at the right temperature for about 10 minutes.
How to Heat a Baby Food Jar using the Beaba Bottle Warmer:- Follow the same steps as above, again ensuring that you remove the lid of the container before heating it
- Turn the dial to the appropriate amount of food, again ensuring you choose the initial temperature mark - fridge or room
- Stir the food well and taste before feeding the baby.
Hints for use and care of the Beaba Bottle Warmer:- Remember to remove the bottle lid, teat or jar lid before heating; replace it after heating
- Always check the temperature before giving the bottle or food to your baby
- Do not set the bottle warmer for a higher amount of liquid or food than is in the container to be heated
- Always ensure the bottle warmer is unplugged before cleaning it
- None of the parts of the Beaba bottle warmer can be cleaned in a dishwasher; rinse the dome and dry thoroughly. Wipe all other parts of the device with a damp cloth and dry well.
Safe use of the Beaba Bottle Warmer:- Never use the bottle warmer without water in the reservoir; do not fill it with water beyond the indicator line either
- Keep it out of the reach of children
- Operate the bottle warmer on a flat surface
- Check the steam holes in the dome regularly to ensure they are not blocked
- The heating time and temperature shown are a guide; ALWAYS check the temperature of the bottle or food before giving it to your baby. Different sizes and shapes of bottles and food containers or jars may affect the temperature of the liquid or food.
- The Beaba Bib’secondes is programmed to work best on narrow-necked feeding bottles. When heating wide-necked bottles, the temperature of the liquid may vary considerably from that of narrow-necked bottles. Beaba advise that you shorten the warming time when using wide-necked bottles.
