Babydan develop and produce a huge range of baby and child safety products for the home or anywhere that babies or young children are. Their range includes safety stair gates, play pens and cupboard locks to name but a few. Please see detailed information below on all the Babydan child safety and child proofing products.
Babydan produce a range of stair gates or safety gates designed to keep children safe in the home from either climbing up or down stairs, or to block off a corridor, or to block access to the kitchen. Features of the various Babydan gates vary from:
- being able to open them in both directions
- having a triple safety mechanism making them very safe and difficult for children to open
- having a single-handed release button
- being available in different styles and finishes, so that there is sure to be a Babydan gate to suit your home or location where you need to install it
- having an indicator to show you when the gate is correctly mounted
- having a non-toxic wipe clean surface
- having different widths to suit most staircases, corridors-widths, door-way widths or wherever the Babydan stair gates are required to be fitted
- being pressure-mounted, so that the Babydan safety gates are quick and easy to take down if not required
- being able to mount the stair gates at an angle.
The Babydan Hearth Gate consists of five 60cm panels, one of which includes a gate. The gate can be fitted at any point along the five panels of the Babydan Hearth Gate, and the shape of these five panels is fully adjustable to suit your fire, stove or hearth. Babydan Window and Door Safety Products
Babydan have four products that can be used to child-proof windows and doors:
- Babydan On-Off Doorstop - this simple device prevents a child from closing the door on their fingers, but is very simple for an adult to adjust so that they can close the door. The door opens easily again for an adult or child, but if the child tries to close the door again, the Babydan On Off Doorstop will not allow them to
- Babydan Under Doorstop is designed to either keep the door open wide or to prevent children from closing the door
- Babydan Finger Safe door stoppers are made of foam and simply prevent a door from closing by attaching them to the edge of the door. Babydan Finger Safe is supplied in packs of 4
- Babydan Window Lock - this lock will fit most window frames, and allows for space for ventilation but prevents the window from opening any further.
Bedroom Safety Products
Babydan make two bedrails:
- The Babydan wooden bedrail is designed to prevent your child from falling out of the bed. This is available in either a white or wood-finish, and is suitable from 18 months to 5 years. The Babydan Bedrail does not require any tools to attach it to the side of the bed, and can be stored easily after use.
- The Babydan Sleep ‘n Safe Bedrail is a soft padded bedrail that will fit most types of beds - solid or slatted-based cots, cot beds and regular beds. This Babydan Bedrail is suitable from 18 months to 5 years. The bedrail folds safely and simply down to allow easy access to your young child. This Babydan bedrail is ideal for use while away from home as it folds down easily into its own compact carry bag.
